Introduction

MDF finds its most common use in kitchen cabinets. Most kitchen cabinets comprise of both solid wood and MDF elements. MDF is usually found on the doors and interior paneling for the reasons stated above (easier to paint, easier to clean, does not warp and so on). But it is not just the kitchen where MDF finds its use.

● MDF is a fantastic choice in moist environments Because it is not easy to expanding moist environments  while the wood door occasionally would cause difficult to open.

● If the surfaces of your cabinets get chipped, scratched or nicked, it can spoil the whole look. If you request a pot of the original paint, you can simply touch in any blemishes on your painted cabinets.

Disadvantage of MDF Painted Kitchen cabinet

● Unfortunately, painted kitchen cabinets tend not to be as durable as the alternatives. They’re more likely to chip than vinyl, foil or PVC wrapped doors. Though chips are easier to repair, as I’ve said, they happen far more often.

● Painted cabinets are a luxury option, and inevitably they cost more. The price will vary, depending on the showroom you use, but it’s always going to be higher than the alternatives.

● The lead times are a lot longer with painted kitchen cabinets. This makes sense, when you remember that they need several coats of paint, with drying time in between. This means you may have to wait up to 4-5 weeks for painted kitchen cabinets, as against 2-3 weeks for the cheaper alternatives.
